Now I have finally finished writing my second book I have been exploring ideas for what that book would have been before I settled on writing about really grisly horror movies. 

Simply put; I found a folder on my laptop with documents mentioning only an idea for  a book topic, other documents were actual chapters I had written before I 'rested' the idea in favour of the 'winning subject' I would go on to write about.

So, it's safe to say some ideas had more merit, or were at least more intriguing to me, than others. As the second book won't be released for at least another five months I was reading through these docs and thinking "Well, what if I start a third book while I wait for the second to be released?"

As it will have taken six years between my first and second books I find it a little silly that I'm tempted to go for a third. After all, I took bloody ages writing/drafting/proof reading/editing the second one (two and a half years) so another one would probably take just as long based on my over cautious nature, wouldn't it?

I don't think it will and here's why. The idea I plan on using, which I had back in summer 2020 from the looks of what I've written and when the file was last updated, is something I have thought of writing about for years, even before 2020. It is also an idea entirely dependent on me and those I know and my memories of certain events. This would surely speed me up; writing about things that actually happened to me.

Without giving too much away I will shortly post an article style feature that is based off of this idea I have oh-so-crypitcally been writing about. Consider it a prototype. I genuinely do think it will be something people would like to read and even laugh at. 

I hope 2020's loss will be 2025's gain...
